PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device which can improve oil film shortage condition of a power transmission portion by traction oil when operation is started.SOLUTION: The driving device 1 is provided with a torque transmitting control means (clutch 3) which can inhibit or reduce transmission of drive torque from an input side rotating member 412 to an output side rotating member 422 and a stopping period determination means (control device 5) which determines whether not or an operation stop period of a continuously variable transmission 4 is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold value. Then, the transmission of the drive torque from the input side rotating member 412 to the output side rotating member 422 is inhibited for predetermined period when the operation stop period of the continuously variable transmission 4 is equal to or more than the predetermined threshold value. |
