TURBINE INLET STRUCTURE OF DOUBLE FLOW TYPE STEAM TURBINE, AND DOUBLE FLOW TYPE STEAM TURBINE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial flow turbine improving the turbine plant efficiency by correcting nonuniformalization of the circumferential distribution of a flow flowing in a turbine first stage from the inside of an axial flow turbine inlet structure.SOLUTION: The turbine inlet structure of a double flow type steam turbine includes a steam introduction part 13 connecting with a downstream side in the steam flow direction of steam supply piping 7, and a ring-shaped flow passage connecting at a part on the outer peripheral side with the steam introduction part 13 and connecting at the inner peripheral side with a turbine stage inlet. A steam flow passage leading from a connection between the steam supply piping 7 and the steam introduction part 13 to the ring-shaped flow passage is constructed so that in the area of a flow passage cross section orthogonal to a steam main flow reduces toward the downstream and then increases again.
