PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel board terminal having simple construction for sufficiently protruding boss portions to be pressed against the terminal holding hole of an terminal holder.SOLUTION: The board terminal is formed by cutting at a predetermined length a metal wire rod having a cross-sectional shape similar to and somewhat larger than the terminal holding hole 56 of the terminal holder 48. It has protruded portions 32 protruded outward from both sides in the axially vertical direction perpendicular to the direction of forging pressure by applying the forging pressure to a press-fitted portion 20 to be press-fitted into the terminal holding hole 56 in the axially vertical direction, and recessed portions 36 opened to a forging pressed face 34 with the face of the press-fitted portion 20 in the direction of the forging pressure as the forging pressed face 34. |
