The lamp e.g. downlight, has a dome shaped reflector (2) for receiving single-ended light, so that a longitudinal axis of the light is in a plane parallel to a light exit orifice (4). A socket is mounted in/beside an opening along the light longitudinal axis via a socket holder (12) that is arranged opposite to the reflector. Control devices (16) are attached at the reflector, so that complementary guide parts are displaced parallel to the longitudinal axis and engaged with the holder. A guide device prevents movement of the holder into a direction transverse to the light longitudinal axis.
