PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which is capable of reducing the movement amount of a coupling lens suitable as a slim type thanks to small size and low cost, and capable of recording and reproducing information on/from an optical disk having multilayered information recording surfaces.SOLUTION: Focus jump for selecting one of the plurality of information recording surfaces is performed by moving a group of positive lenses L2 of the coupling lens CL in an optical axis direction. A spherical aberration which increases with a change of environmental temperature or a wavelength variation of a light source is corrected by driving a liquid crystal element LCD. |
