PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing breakage and life deterioration by high temperature without being affected by communication performance even if an IC tag is attached to the fixing device, and to provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A duct for feeding air is arranged on the top surface of the fixing device, and the IC tag is attached to the side separated from a heat source with respect to an air layer of the duct.
