COUNTERFEITED SEAL IMPRINT INSPECTION METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a misstep caused as the result of a judgment by a naked eye and a microscope magnification.SOLUTION: A method for inspecting a counterfeited seal imprint includes: a generation step (ST-101) of generating (ST-110) a reference seal imprint from a seal of an original copy; and a calculation step (ST-121) of calculating (ST-140) a characteristic value of a comparison seal imprint to the reference seal imprint by comparing the reference seal imprint generated by the generation step (ST-101) with the comparison seal imprint. The result of experimentation shows that this method can identify the counterfeited seal imprint placed by the seal counterfeited by etching a zinc plate or a resin plate, and can also identify the counterfeited seal imprint placed by the seal counterfeited by a computer model etching method to prevent the misstep which tends to occur by the existing judgment with the naked eye and the microscope magnification by providing the objective ground capable of judging if the seal imprint placed on a document or the like in a civil case and a criminal case.
