PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of quickly supplying a lubricating oil to a supercharger.SOLUTION: The engine 1 comprises a supercharger 16 and a lubricating device for supplying lubricating oil to the parts of the engine including the supercharger 16. The lubricating device comprises an oil pump 22 for sending the lubricating oil by pressure, a main gallery 24 for distributing the lubricating oil from the oil pump 22 to the parts of the engine, and a main oil passage 31 to serve as the passage of the lubricating oil extending from the oil pump 22 via the main gallery 24 to the supercharger 16. The lubricating device comprises a bypath oil passage 32. The bypath oil passage 32 serves as a passage of the lubricating oil branched from the main oil path 31 to the supercharger 16 without passing through the main gallery 24. |
