PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel, inexpensively printable even in a finished product state, and improving identification and traceability.SOLUTION: An inner side seal 7 is constituted of a pack seal composed of mutually oppositely arranged annular seal plate 8 and slinger 12. The slinger 12 includes a cylindrical part 9a pressed in an outer diameter of an inner ring 3 and a vertical plate part 9b extending outward in the radial direction from this cylindrical part 9a. Magnetic substance powder is mixed in elastomer on an inner side surface of this vertical plate part 9b, and magnetic poles N and S are alternately magnetized in equal arrangement in the peripheral direction, and a magnetic encoder 13 is integrally joined by vulcanization adhesion. A protective plate 14 formed by press working from a steel plate of a nonmagnetic substance is fixed by caulking to the outer edge of the vertical plate part 9b so as to cover the inner side of this magnetic encoder 13, and information on the bearing device for the wheel is printed along the peripheral direction on the inner side surface of the protective plate 14 by irradiation of a laser. |
