摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission belt that reduces friction coefficient in a circumferential direction between rings of a laminating ring as well as between the laminating ring and an element and improves efficiency of power transmission, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: The belt includes the laminating ring 51 in which a first ring 61 to a ninth ring 69 are laminated, and a plurality of elements which are circularly bound adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction of the laminating ring 51. Both sides in a width direction of the element are held by sheave surfaces of a driving pulley and a driven pulley each having a pair of sheaves, wherein the pair of sheaves faces each other while a gap is freely changed. The first ring 61 to the ninth ring 69 have an irregular part 61b formed on an inner peripheral surface so that friction coefficient μa of the circumferential direction is smaller than friction coefficient μb of the width direction perpendicular to the circumferential direction. The irregular part 61b includes a recess and a projection which are alternately formed in the circumferential direction. The recess and the projection are parallel to each other, and linearly extend in the width direction.
