A method, terminal and system for transmitting and receiving service information, invented for performing asynchronous switch of an adaptive code and modulation table, are disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention, which relates to communication technique field. The method for transmitting service information comprises: judging whether the present adaptive code and modulation identification is the same as the adaptive code and modulation identification recorded in code and modulation information which is stored separately; if it is yes, performing coding and modulation on the service information according to the code and modulation information; if it is no, performing coding and modulation on the service information according to the adaptive code and modulation table; and transmitting the coded and modulated service information, which carries the present adaptive code and modulation identification. The present invention can be used for transmitting and receiving service information.
