<p>Disclosed is a lens drive device which can accurately move a lens in the optical axis direction of the lens. Also disclosed are a lens module and an image pickup device, which are provided with the lens drive device. A lens holding member (43) is driven by means of a pair of polymer actuator elements (441, 442) via connecting members (451A, 451B, 452A, 452B). Thus, the lens (48) can be accurately moved in the direction of the optical axis (Z1) of the lens. The connecting members (451A, 451B, 452A, 452B) preferably have a rigidity equivalent to or lower than that of the polymer actuator elements (441, 442).</p> |
