PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone hydrogel which has a high content of acrylamide monomer, and is transparent and excellent in balance between moisture content and wettability.SOLUTION: The silicone hydrogel is obtained by polymerizing an undiluted polymerization liquid which contains plurality of monomers. In addition, the undiluted polymerization liquid contains at least one type of silicone monomer of 30-98 wt.% to the total amount of the monomer and polymer components, and at least one type of non-silicone type (meth)acrylamide monomer of 1-50 wt.% to the total amount of the monomer and polymer components, the non-silicone type (meth)acrylamide monomer containing at least two hydroxyl groups within a molecule.
