PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for a fan blower, especially for a floor or desktop fan blower such as a desktop type, tower type and pedestal type.SOLUTION: An external attachment for a portable fan blower includes a base formed with air inlets located in the side wall of the base and an air outlet detachable to and connectable with the base part and further includes a high energy particle capturing filter and an attaching means for detachably connecting the attachment with the fan blower so that the filter may be located on the upstream of the air inlets of the fan blower.
