PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope which can obtain a satisfactory observation image by adequately ensuring a quantity of light around a visual field for observation without increasing the size of an objective lens.SOLUTION: The microscope 1 makes illuminating light from a lamp house 11, via a hollow mirror 22, pass through an illuminating optical path formed in the outer periphery part of an objective lens 14, to irradiate a specimen 16. The microscope 1 has an optical member 25 (e.g., a hollow-shaped prism) for converting the light flux diameter of illuminating light between the hollow mirror 22 and the objective lens 14. |
