PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination apparatus, a tire cord processing apparatus and a state determination method for simultaneously detecting disconnection, connection and the surface state of a continuously-carried tire cord, and accurately inspecting the surface state of the tire cord.SOLUTION: The determination apparatus includes cameras 20, 21, 22, 23 for imaging the tire cord 3 moved in the linear direction, at a predetermined interval; a processing means for processing images output from the cameras 20, 21, 22, 23; a speed detecting means for detecting the moving speed of the tire cord 3; and an effective pixel setting means for setting the effective pixel number N in the movement direction m of the tire cord 3 by the cameras 20, 21, 22, 23 to a predetermined pixel number, based on the movement speed of the tire cord 3. A double processing area N0 based on an overlap in the movement direction between the rear section of a current frame F1 and the front section of a next frame F2 in an effective pixel range, and the effective pixel number N are controlled and optimized, based on the movement speed of the tire cord 3. |
