PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subcritical water treatment apparatus and method, capable of continuously performing subcritical water treatment without a condition that no raw materials are filled and held in a reactor.SOLUTION: The subcritical water treatment apparatus that continuously treats substance with subcritical water includes the reactor that has an introducing inlet for the treated substance, a stirring means, and a discharge outlet of the treated substance, stirs a mixture where a plurality of stirring media are mixed in the treated substance and allows the treated substance to react with the stirring media with the subcritical water, a supply apparatus that introduces the treated substance into the introducing inlet of the reactor, an extracting apparatus that discharges the treated substance treated in the reactor, and a pressure control means that keeps the pressure of the reactor constant by controlling the extracting apparatus. |
