The present invention relates to a wireless AV (Audio/Video) transmission device and a wireless AV reception device configured to reduce unnecessary power consumption, wherein the wireless AV (Audio/Video) transmission device includes a modulation/demodulation block configured to receive an AV signal from a source device via a cable, to modulate/demodulate the signal and transmit the modulated/demodulated signal, a wireless AV transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit the signal provided from the modulation/demodulation block, a DC/DC converting enabler configured to provide a power source to the wireless AV transmission device, and a central processing device configured to controllably disable the DC/DC converting enabler to supply the power to the wireless AV transmitter by detecting that the AV signal fails to be transmitted from the source device to the modulation/demodulation block. |
