PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light source device having improved cooling performance, and to provide a compact projector incorporated with the semiconductor light source device.SOLUTION: The semiconductor light source device includes: a semiconductor light emitting element which emits light; a condenser lens which is disposed on the emitting side of the semiconductor light emitting element, and configured to enhance the directivity of the light emitted from the semiconductor light emitting element; a holding body 79 which holds the semiconductor light emitting element; a lens mounting frame 80 which holds the condenser lens; a heat sink 81 which is thermally connected to the holding body 79; and a cooling fan; wherein an air flow path 87 is formed between the lens mounting frame 80 and the holding body 79, and the cooling air from the cooling fan is sent to the heat sink 81 and the air flow path 87. |
