PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical touch-panel input device practically using a touch-panel allowing multipoint detection.SOLUTION: A display screen including display and touch-panel functions is applied to a car navigation system or the like, relative relation between detected two points are input as magnification/reduction information or the like of a map so as to prevent danger when performing operation during traveling by a driver, and absolute positions of the detected two points are input as area designation information or the like on the touch-panel when performing operation in time of a stop or during the traveling by a fellow passenger. An example of the relative relation between the two points is an interval between the two points, a change thereof, or the like. When using the interval between the two points as information, a parallel movement amount or speed of two-point touch positions are also input as information. In the car navigation system or the like, information input is performed by a one-point touch onto the touch-panel so as to prevent the danger when performing the operation during the traveling or the like by the driver, and information input is performed by detection of a two-point simultaneous touch state when performing the operation in time of the stop, or the operation or the like during the traveling by the fellow passenger. |
