PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate generation device capable of generating particulate having a high combustion temperature.SOLUTION: This particulate generation device 100 includes: a combustion chamber 3 having an air inlet 1 for supplying combustion air F1, and a gas outlet 2 for discharging particulate-containing gas F2 containing generated particulate, wherein gas fuel is burned therein to generate particulate; a main burner 4 inserted into the combustion chamber 3, for supplying the gas fuel continuously into the combustion chamber 3; and a pilot burner 6 mounted on the combustion chamber 3, for igniting the gas fuel supplied into the combustion chamber 3. A position where the main burner is arranged is in the range from a position at 100 mm from the position where the pilot burner is arranged toward the downstream side to a position at 200 mm from the position where the pilot burner is arranged toward the upstream side. |
