PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump and a pump set where discharge speed when discharging a liquid from the mouth part of a syringe becomes stable.SOLUTION: The pump 5 is used by mounting a syringe 1 and includes: a holding body 6 for holding the outer cylinder 2 of the syringe 1; a pressurizing member 7 movably set in the holding body 6 and pressurizes the plunger 4 of the syringe 1 toward a distal end direction by the movement; and a spiral spring 8 stored to the pressurizing member 7 so as to be expanded from an outer end part, having the outer end part fixed with respect to the hold body 6, and urges the pressurizing member 7 in the end direction. The spiral spring 8 is configured such that it becomes an expanded state when the pressurizing member 7 moves in a proximal end direction against urging force of the spiral spring 8, generates restoring force to restore the spring from the expanded state to the original state, and moves the pressurizing member 7 in the distal end direction by the restoring force to pressurize the plunger 4. |
