PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a degree of contribution to environmental conservation in an easy-to-understand form.SOLUTION: The eco-driving indicator 2 as a display device for vehicles has a rotary instrument 3. The rotary instrument 3 is controlled according to the degree of contribution to environmental conservation. The instrument 3 has a rotating plate and a design plate. The rotating plate is provided with a color divided pattern. The color divided pattern is arranged around a rotary shaft of an actuator of the instrument 3, and is divided by a spiral boundary line whose distance from the rotary shaft gradually changes along the rotating direction. The design plate has a display window 5. The display window 5 is provided in an open manner corresponding only to a partial range of the rotating direction of the rotating plate. Through the display window 5, only a part of the boundary line is observed in such a way that it shifts along an approximately radial direction of the rotating plate, according to the rotation of the rotating plate. |
