PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of absorbing a large shock with a simple constitution without increasing the thickness of a claw washer.SOLUTION: An EPS (Electric Power Steering) has a claw washer 39 for regulating the relative rotation between a rack shaft 5 and a rack end 12. The claw washer 39 includes a washer body 51 to be held between a shaft end 11 and a socket 32, a spring part 54 extending outwardly in the radial direction so as to form a space between an outer circumferential edge of the washer body 51 and an end face 37 in the axial direction of the socket 32, and a sliding part 55 formed on a fore end of the spring part 54. The sliding part 55 is end-abutted to perform the elastic deformation of the spring part 54, and to allow the sliding part to slide on a recess 44 of the socket 32. |
