SYSTEM AND METHOD OF LIFTING MINERAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system of lifting mineral capable of stably lifting minerals even under severe environments in deep sea by simplifying the structure of a facility for charging the minerals mined at a sea bottom into a transporting pipe.SOLUTION: The system includes: a mineral lifting base disposed at sea; the transporting pipe for mineral lifting which is disposed from the lifting base to the sea bottom and through which bottom seawater containing the valuable resources mined at the sea bottom is transported to the mineral lifting base; a separator for separating the valuable resources from the bottom seawater; a transporting tube for circulation which is disposed from the mineral lifting base to the sea bottom and which returns the seawater from which the valuable resources are separated to the sea bottom; a circulation pump for feeding the seawater from which the valuable resources is separated to the transporting tube for circulation; and a mineral lifting device comprising a submerged pump which is disposed at the sea bottom and which sucks the valuable resources together with the bottom seawater through a suction port and feeds to the transporting tube for mineral lifting, and a hydraulic motor for driving the submerged pump using the seawater returned to the sea bottom through the transporting tube for circulation as a drive water.
