The method involves providing transmission cable with high capacitance coatings, which is provided for high capacitance value of the cable. Two capacitors are distributed on line length and provided in the cable. The capacitors are charged with high voltages (U1, U2) whose difference yields a low voltage that is used at consumer interfaces of the cable. Different generators are distributed locally for producing the low voltage, which is used for creation and for the receiving of voltage difference (U2 - U1). An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for transmission and storage of energy.
