PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate control in which machine accuracy of a printing machine is taken into consideration; to adopt a specific color which is important for the quality in each printed pattern as an object to be measured/controlled.SOLUTION: The device for controlling a color tone of the printing machine creates an LUT for control, which describes a change amount of a print color when an ink key for a specific pattern area ratio is operated with respect to each of a plurality of representative colors. The device obtains the pattern area ratio and selects a reference region with respect to every ink key to be operated. The device detects the change amounts of a print color of the reference region of a reference printed matter and a print color of a reference region of a printed matter to be inspected, extracts the LUT for control of a plurality of the representative colors near a dot area ratio of the reference region, refers the extracted LUT for control, calculates an operation amount of the ink key based on the pattern area ratio and the detected change amount, and operates the ink key based on the operation amount. |
