PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve resolution of not less than settable resolution of a parameter of an AC signal which can be digitally set, and to suppress occurrence of unnecessary vibration when vibration amplitude and moving speed of a vibration-type actuator are controlled with the parameter to be an amount to be operated.SOLUTION: A driving unit of the vibration-type actuator includes: a command unit for output of a command signal instructing at least one of a frequency, an amplitude and a phase difference of the AC signal; a change making unit for giving change to the command signal and for output of it; and an AC signal generating unit for generating the AC signal. Here, at least one of the frequency, the amplitude and the phase difference is modulated in accordance with output of the change making unit. The driving unit also includes a filter unit for selectively attenuating a frequency band where vibration except for the vibration at a prescribed vibration mode is excited by at least one of an output signal of the change making unit and the AC signal generating unit. |
