PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current-limiting device for vehicle that controls an overcurrent from flowing through a motor generator when a motor is driven by combining a high voltage source and the motor generator having coil winding with low impedance.SOLUTION: The current-limiting device for vehicle includes: a switching means 4 for supplying/cutting off a current flowing from an input end Tin to an output end Tout; a reflux means which is connected to a connection point between the switching means and the output end, and supplies a current to the motor generator 2 when the current is interrupted by the switching means; a current measuring means 6 which measures the current flowing to the motor generator from the output end; and a current control means 7 which controls ON/OFF of the switching means 4 based on a current value measured by the current measuring means. In rotating and driving the motor generator by utilizing electric power of a power storage means 1, the current control means controls ON/OFF of the switching means and limits the current to the motor generator when the current in the motor generator is equal to or higher than a predetermined current value. |
