PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is equipped with a digital display module which reduces the change in the average brightness of the whole display screen by the change in the image region.SOLUTION: The display device includes the digital display module 14 to which predetermined indication values relative to the brightness of the display screen can be freely set from outside; a scaling section 12 which adjusts the size of a display image to be indicated on the digital display module according to the aspect ratio of the input digital image signals; and a brightness-generating part 13 which adjusts the indication values which are set from the outside on the basis of the size of the display image. |
