PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device of a hand truck having a simple structure and capable of easily executing the locking/unlocking operation in a locked condition.SOLUTION: The locking device includes: a spindle 5 which is rotatably biased to the unlocking position in a normal state, and rotated to the locking position by stepping on pedals 8; a lock member 6 for restricting/releasing a wheel 3 by the rotation; a holding member 9 for holding the spindle 5 at the locking position; a locking member 10 for restricting the holding member 9 at the holding position in the locked position; and an electric lock device 11 for controlling the operation of the locking member 10. The holding member 9 steps an operation unit 22 and arranges it at the releasing position when the locking member 10 is at the unlocked position. Thus, the spindle 5 can be released and returned to the non-lock position. When the locking member 10 is at the locked position, the holding member 9 cannot be moved from the holding position. The operational command of a drive motor 35 of the locking member 10 is executed by a radio transmitter 12 carried by an operator. |
