PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber which is excellent in bulkiness and productivity and is used for an air-laid nonwoven fabric.SOLUTION: The fiber includes specific fineness, profile degree and fiber length. Namely, the polyester fiber for the air-laid nonwoven fabric, has a multilobular cross-sectional shape and a fiber length of 3 to 15 mm, and has a profile degree Ro/Ri of 1.2 to 10.0, wherein Ro is the diameter of the circumscribed circle in the multilobular cross-sectional shape of the fiber cross-section, and Ri is the diameter of the inscribed circle. |
