FLOW CHARGING METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM

A flow charging method includes: initiating a charging session to implement the flow charging for a bearer layer; when a charging triggering event is detected, interacting with a charging system through the charging session so as to implement the charging control for the service flows on the bearer layer and on an offload bearer layer of the bearer layer. A flow charging apparatus includes: a session initiation module, used for initiating a charging session to implement the flow charging for a bearer layer; a charging control module, used for interacting, when a charging triggering event is detected, with a charging system through the charging session so as to implement the charging control for the service flows on the bearer layer and on an offload bearer layer of the bearer layer. The relevant flow charging methods and charging apparatus can use a same charging session to implement the credit control for the service flows on multiple bearer layers so as to implement the flow charging.
