Since the movement of the water in the sea is very high in energy, especially where the waves are very high and therefore also very powerful, and most energy is present at the change in height between the waves at the surface and those below the surface, it would be useful to exploit said difference in wave lifting energy in order to generate electrical power. In contrast to existing inventions, the present invention exploits the difference in uplift power of the rising water close to the surface of the water and the low dynamic lifting power of the water further below the surface of the water by using, for example, long, tubular structures that contain operative elements and can be sited vertically in the water. The water level inside the tubes consequently remains almost the same, as the tubes and the water move up and down, owing to the fact that air-filled containers are fastened to the upper region of the tubes. If a massive body floating in the water is placed inside the tubular container, then a relative movement thereof and of the surrounding tubular container occurs, wherein said movement can be used for controlled generation of power. |
