The device has a light-transparent closing disk (4) closing an aperture in a pot-shaped housing (1), where the disk is made of polycarbonate as base material. The housing accommodates a light unit (2) including a LED luminous element and a light guide unit (8) for generating predetermined light distribution from the light unit. An additional radiation source (7) is arranged in the housing to generate de-icing radiation (S) for the disk. The disk is provided with an absorption coating (10) at an inner side and/or an outer side, where the coating is adapted to the additional radiation source.
