Method for assembling and mounting of photovoltaic modules on sheet metal roof, involves moving rails parallel to direction, and covering photovoltaic modules at front side by rails, where modules are connected with rails

The method involves moving mounting rails (4) e.g. bent-hat profiles, parallel to a roofridge direction (22), and securing the mounting rails immediately on bead ridges of standing seams (2) of a roof surface (1) i.e. sheet metal roof. Photovoltaic (PV) modules (5) are presented immediately to an interstice between the moved mounting rails on assigned stop faces, where the mounting rails are spaced from each other. The PV modules are covered at front side by the secured mounting rails and connected with the mounting rails. An independent claim is also included for a mounting rail for assembling and mounting of PV modules on a roof surface.
