The method involves continuously detecting atmospheric waves, which are generated by storm. Alterations of energy contents of the acquired atmospheric waves are evaluated. Alterations of the energy contents of the storm are determined based on the evaluation of the alterations of the energy contents of the acquired atmospheric waves. Amplitude, wavelength or frequency of the atmospheric waves is detected and evaluated, where land-related changes of the energy content of the atmospheric waves are recorded by a balloon or aircraft or satellite.
