<p>The method involves feeding and cutting a material strand from a metal. A material piece (2) is molded in region-wise, and predetermined breaking points (5) are produced in the material piece. An opening (6) is formed with an edge region (7) for receiving a flow tube in a region of the breaking points by rupturing and molding in the region of the breaking points. The edge region of the openings is formed by a non-cutting molding process and the region is protruded from a main plane (H) of the material piece. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger.</p> |
