A pyroelectric detector (200) includes a support member (210), a capacitor (230) and a fixing part (100). The support member includes a first side and a second side opposite from the first side, with the first side facing a cavity (102). The capacitor includes a pyroelectric body (232) between a first electrode (234) and a second electrode (236) such that an amount of polarization varies based on a temperature. The capacitor is mounted and supported on the second side of the support member with the first electrode being disposed on the second side of the support member. A thermal conductance of the first electrode is less than a thermal conductance of the second electrode. The fixing part supports the support member. |
