Device allowing to secure a JTAG Bus

The device has an interface (ES1) for receiving joint text action group (JTAG)bus signals, and an interface (ES2) provided for JTAGbus signals originated from a component chain. A generating module (F1) generates a JTAGbus frame for verifying operating continuity of a JTAGbus and components. An alarm module (20) raises alarm detected by the generating module and a monitoring module (F3). An activation module (AFS) activates safety functions. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing a JTAGbus.
