The invention provides a producing method of a box for a liquid crystal display device. With the method, polarizers can be easily pasted till the end part of a glass substrate forming a liquid crystal box. The box for a liquid crystal display device is composed by pastig polarizers on the substrate for the liquid crystal box. The producing method comprises a preparation process, a polarizer pasting process and a polarizer cutting process. In the preparation process, one substrate for the liquid crystal display device having a liquid crystal display portion and a terminal portion is prepared. In the polarizer pasting process, the polarizers are pasted in a manner that the liquid crystal display portion is coverd, and the polarizers expose from the substrate terminal portion in an area having the liquid crystal display portion and on the surface of the substrate of at least one liquid crystal display device. In the polarizer cutting process, the polarizers exposing from the terminal portion of the substrate for the liquid crystal display device are cut off through laser irradiation. |
