PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which can prevent occurrence of work of newly storing motor inherent information such as error information on the position where a position detection element of the motor is attached even when the combination of the motor and its control device is cancelled, such as by replacement of the motor or the control device.SOLUTION: A motor 20 includes a rotor 22, a position detection element 63 attached for detecting a position of the rotor 22, and a storage unit 80 for storing error information on an attaching position of the position detection element 63 that is the motor inherent information capable of being output to the outside of the motor 20. Therefore, the error information on the attaching position of the position detection element 63 is stored on the motor 20 itself using the storage unit 80, and thus the error information on the attaching position of the position detection element 63 is not required to be stored in a control device 60 of the motor 20. |
