A magnetic sensor 1 comprises a channel 7, a ferromagnetic body 12 and first and second reference electrodes 20A, 20B on the channel 7, a magnetic shield S1 covering a part of the channel 7 opposing the ferromagnetic body 12, and an insulating film 7a disposed between the channel 7 and the magnetic shield S1, while the magnetic shield S1 has a through-hole H extending toward the part of the channel 7 opposing the ferromagnetic body 12.
