PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly display the correction of the route information only with map data formed with road polygon representing the road. SOLUTION: A route information display 2 which is inputted with route information composed of link nodes, starting points and end points, displays on the map data comprises: a map data base 15 storing the map data of the road polygon representing the road with the polygon; an acquisition means 13 for acquiring the route information externally; a route correction means 21 for creating the corrected route information by determining whether the prescribed distance route is in the region of the road polygonof the map data or not from the link node of the route information, if out the region is determined the prescribed distance route from the link node is corrected so as to be within the region of the road polygon of the map data by correcting the positional data of the link node; and a drawing means 14 for drawing the map data and on the map data drawing the correction route information.
