Disclosed is a nucleic acid molecule comprising a sequence of nucleotides that encodes human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) fusion protein. The fusion protein comprises human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) protein fused to a beta subunit of E. coli heat liable enterotoxin (LTB) protein. Also disclosed are processes for expression the fusion protein in a recombinant host cell and the use of the fusion protein in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of cancer.
