Disclosed is the use of 4-cyano-1H-imidazole-2-carboxylic acid { 2-cyclohex-1-enyl-4-[1-(2-dimethylaminoacetyl)-piperidin-4-yl]-phenyl} -amide represented by formula (I) for treating gastrointestinal stromal tumor or mastocytosis. Also disclosed is the use of the compound of formula (I) which has been conjugated to a targeting agent for treating gastrointestinal stromal tumor or mastocytosis.
