Provided is a carrot plant, the roots of which comprise an average lycopene content from about 110 ppm to about 250 ppm and an average brix content from about 11° brix to about 20° brix. Further provided are specific plant varieties deposited at ATCC and methods of using the varieties to breed carrots with increased lycopene and brix content. |
