The device (D) has a valve (C1) allowing extraction of a part of air from a cab interior (H) of a vehicle (V) toward exterior of the cab interior. A drive unit i.e. electric micro motor (ME1), rotatably drives the valve so as to place the valve in a position defined by an instruction. A control unit (MC) determines the instruction of the drive unit based on current life situation in the cab interior, so as to limit energy loss induced by the extraction of air toward the exterior of the cab interior.
