The device has elements (20) juxtaposed with a plate (22) along transversal direction. Each element comprises two sections (24) connected on an upper surface of the plate at a level of longitudinal edges of the plate such that the sections of the element are fixed. Width of a membrane (26) e.g. ethylene propylene diene monomer type elastomer geomembrane, of each element is adapted in a manner to extend above upper parts of the sections to obtain an overlapping zone at a level of a junction zone of the elements. The overlapping zone overlaps the membranes above the sections.
