<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a captured place name to a captured image. <P>SOLUTION: In step S42, a mobile phone reads POI data from a loaded memory card and stores it inside. In step S45, the mobile phone proceeds to step S46 when a photographing object is captured by user's operation and determines whether the memory card has calculated a new GPS received data. When a new GPS received data is calculated, the mobile phone obtains latitude/longitude information from a memory card in step S47 and records it by adding latitude/longitude information to the captured image data in step S48.
